1 Min Pet Quiz (the “Service”) is operated by Motion Foundry, a trading name based in the United Kingdom. This policy explains what information we collect across the Service — the pet-matching quiz, personalised pet films, and our partner programme — why we collect it, and the choices you have. What we collect depends on how you use the Service:

Under UK data protection law, we rely on: contract (to take and fulfil a paid order, or to run our agreement with an approved partner), consent (for example, marketing emails or optional details you choose to share), and our legitimate interests in running, securing, and improving the Service. You can withdraw consent at any time.
Photos, reference material, and any message you provide for a personalised film are used solely to create your order. We don't use your uploaded photos for marketing or share them with anyone outside the small team producing your film, without your separate permission.
We do not sell your data. We use a small number of trusted service providers who process data on our behalf:
We keep your information for as long as needed to provide the Service, fulfil an order, administer a partner agreement, or meet our legal and accounting obligations (for example, UK tax law generally requires financial records to be kept for at least six years) — whichever is longest — or until you ask us to delete it, where we're not required to keep it for those reasons.
You have the right to access, correct, or delete your data, to object to or restrict its use, and to withdraw consent. To exercise any of these, email hello@motionfoundy.co.uk. You also have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
The Service is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us and we will remove it.
We may update this policy from time to time. Any changes will appear on this page with a revised “last updated” date.
We keep this deliberately minimal. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies, and we do not sell data to ad networks.

These are all functional — the Service doesn't work properly without them. Most are stored using your browser's local/session storage rather than traditional cookies, but we describe them here for the same reason: transparency about what's kept on your device and why. You can clear these at any time through your browser settings; doing so may sign you out or reset quiz progress.

1 Min Pet Quiz offers a light-hearted pet-matching quiz, provided for entertainment and general guidance only, and personalised, hand-animated pet films made to order.
The quiz is not veterinary, behavioural, or rehoming advice. Choosing to bring an animal into your home is a serious, long-term commitment. Always do your own research and speak to a vet, a reputable rescue, or a responsible breeder before getting a pet. Breed descriptions are general and individual animals vary widely in temperament, health, and needs. Results and certificates are indicative and for fun, carry no official, legal, or professional standing, and we do not guarantee their accuracy.
Please use the Service fairly and lawfully. Do not attempt to disrupt, copy, reverse-engineer, or misuse it, and don't upload material you don't have the right to share with us.
The content, design, and branding of the Service are owned by Motion Foundry and may not be reproduced without permission.
The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Motion Foundry is not liable for any loss arising from your use of the Service or decisions made based on it. Nothing in these terms limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

These additional terms apply if you apply to, or are approved as, a partner referring visitors to the Service.
Submitting an application does not guarantee approval. We review every application individually and may approve, decline, or request more information at our discretion. We may also suspend or end a partnership at any time, for example if a link is used in a misleading way or against these terms.
Once approved, you'll receive a unique link containing a ?ref= code. Visitors who arrive via that link and go on to complete the quiz or place a paid order are attributed to you for as long as that tracking information persists in their browser during that visit.
Keep your dashboard password confidential. You're responsible for activity under your account. Tell us straight away if you believe it's been compromised.
The partner relationship is a plain referral link — it does not make you an agent, employee, or representative of Motion Foundry, and does not permit you to make promises on our behalf.
We may update these terms, our commission rate, or how the programme works from time to time. We'll make reasonable efforts to let active partners know of material changes.
